What is RYLE?
RYLE (Rotary Youth Leadership Experience) is an annual camp hosted by the RYLE Committee and sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of District 5370. This four day experience is intended for high school students (grades 9 to 12) who would like to gain or strengthen their leadership skills and learn how to be active citizens who strive to make a positive impact in the world.

RYLE will be held this year from Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 until Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at Camp Nakamun (Busby, AB, T0G 0H0).
What can you expect from RYLE?
RYLE focuses on developing and promoting student leadership. We focus on foundations of communication, goal-setting, motivation, as well as introducing you to the facets of Rotary International. During RYLE, we will explore concepts such as interpersonal growth, communication, teamwork, community-building, and global citizenship.

Experiential learning opportunities over the course of the 4 day experience emphasize building competency, confidence, and connections. You can expect to work cooperatively through hands-on workshops and challenges that will exercise your newly-acquired skills.

Above all, you can expect to form tight networks with like-minded youth who also aspire to be strong and influential leaders. RYLE will provide you with cabin accommodations, and food during the camp.

COVID Note: Participant safety is our priority. As such, RYLE continues to review the most current guidelines released by the government and may implement precautions to enhance safety for all participants.
